please help 1986 quadrunner lt250 4x4 no lights?

Default please help 1986 quadrunner lt250 4x4 no lights?

1986 lt 250 4x4 went out for a hard ride did some river crossing sunk machine put water up over the seat hauled it out drained carb etc got it running again .. but lost my headlights i still have dash lights in speedo area nuetral light and tail light all work? but no headlights any ideas would be great thankx! ps also headlight have water in them at the bottom possiable they blew out??? i assume they did??

hey, welcome to the forum!

were your lights on when you went under? if they were on and hot, and the housing leaked, cool water could have killed them.

thanks yes they were on im a ssuming i can just replace the bulbs and not have to buy the headlights they seem to be fine...? thanks for the input

yea if nothing is wet any more around any of your wiring and everything is dry, then most likely the bulbs popped.
