700 King Quad diff seal leaking
#2
im not an expert but it shouldnt be that hard... the hardest part would be taking the machine apart to get to it... but all that should be is just taking off the tire and wheel hub... unbolting the A-arms and poping the CV shaft out... which is just a matter of pulling it out... all i do is clamp visgrips on the shaft and hit them with a hammer and the shaft should pop out or u can use a screw driver and pry it out... all that holds it in is a spring loaded curclip... then its just a matter of poping the seal and tapping in a new one... but as long as your there u should check the bearings in both hub and the gear box... i have never worked on a 700 suzuki but i have dont many CV shaft and bearing replacements on my friends machines... polaris, suzuki, articat... they all are pretty much the same... it looks harder then it is... it shoulded take more then an hour... if you have done this sort of thing b4 it should be about a half hour job... sorry im not much help but i just thought i would tell ya it looks worse then it is....
good luck
