The readings remained constant when I wiggled/jiggled the wiring and connectors.

The dealer didn't get the switch in yet. Hopefully Monday.

Today, while driving the ATV, it seemed that I had to apply a lot of throttle to get the thing to move. It felt like a brake was dragging or something. Then, without moving my thumb on the throttle, the thing took off! Do you think it had a weak spark trhen all of a sudden had full spark?

I'm telling ya.. this thing is POSSESSED!

Yea, it could have been "missing"...

It was a nice day for a ride, I rode down to a sunny spot by the river and drank a kahlua/amaretto coffee to celebrate

The quad had the magneto rebuilt by Ricks in NH then reinstalled by the dealer when this whole thing started. I would hope everything was cleaned up. I would check it out, but you have to remove the engine to get to the magneto. Smart design, eh?

Thanks for your post :-)

The dealer swapped the CDI with a good one when they had the bike in for repair. It still didn't have the spark needed to start with a good one. So, I am hoping it is something else. Especially since I have put the damn thing back together. Also, I purchased a used "working" CDI on eBay and it didn't make the bike run/start any better than the original one in the machine.

Keep thinking......... and thanks

I almost wish the whole Quad was MISSING at this point! LOL!

Okay, what were you celebrating? (You have some nerve celebrating anything until you have solved this gremlin that I have! hahahahahahaha!!!!)

I just bought a Suzuki LT-4WD shop manual on eBay. Perhaps that will shed some light on this EVIL ATV???????

Thanks :-)

Wow, you broke open the vault!!!

These are the Suzuki oem manuals, and should be pretty good. Most here are 87-98 though. Some are only supplements....
