yeah dude i saw those pics. that things CLEAN!!! and the story on the polaris was pretty funny, too.

anyways, i found a few in yellow and white (not sure what color i want yet) from my regular dealer. They want $5399 for them, so i guess thats not too bad.

Once I get it, Im gonna get the DMC comp pipe for it, with the FMF megabomb header, a UNI filter, and the yosh cherrybomb. Then, holeshot gncc's on hiper beadlocks all around for xc, and ill probably use the stock tires for mx. and lastly, protaper contour or fasst flexx bars (not sure yet). other than that, i wanna leave it alone for the most part.

glad to hear you like the dvx!

Sounds like a sweet setup you have planned there! $5399 isn't bad at all for a new LTR.

You'll have to let me know if you get the Fasst Flexx bars, I've heard a lot of good things about them.

I would NOT get a Dr. D. I have one for my DVX (04) and it was great at first but now it seems where it connects to the headpipe it has "Stretched" and I now have an exhaust leak. So do avoid those. I have seen many ppl run FMF on their Z400 in my area. Might want to check them out too. If I could do it again I would probably go with a Motorworks myself.

Motoworks must be pretty good stuff. Can-Am offers them for the DS450 in their stage 1 factory race package.

Are they a relatively new company? I haven't heard a ton about them.

Just been doing a bit of research on Motoworks and they are getting some pretty rave reviews. Their were a few Z400 reviews @ Rocky Mountain and they all loved it. Plus Dirt Wheels used a Motoworks pipe on their Z400 project and loved it.

I'd have to say that on my short list right now is DMC, Two Bros, and MotoWorks. Their all under $300 too! Not too bad!

Plus the orange label on the Motoworks pipe will look great with my DVX!

I just sent three matching emails to the three companies asking them to sell me on their pipe, I'll be curious to see if anyone gets back and what they say.
