Default Lt 250r/gxs r750

I just bought a 2004 GSX-R750 engine it's going in my 86 LT 250R frame. I've seen a few of these at the dunes. Anybody here done this and do you have any tip or pic's for me?

Your gonna want a 87-92 frame otherwise lots more custom fab, That engine mount in the front will have to go......It is easier to put a lt 500r engine in.

it shouldnt be too bad... just the center tube in front of the engine needs to go... otherwise, it should be pretty easy. theres lots of room in those lt250r frames.

i think you have a little more space, and the frames are a little better quality, those suzuki didn't have the greatest factory welds.

When you eliminate that center tube, you will need to re-enforce the frame. or y off of that tube into the bottom rails.

It will be my winter project. I still need to get a few more parts like the shifter and gauges. I will need to figure out a fuel pump also, this is a fuel injected motor.
I have my 87 LT 250r and my Renegade 800 to ride while I work on this one.
