2007 Suzuki Vinson (won't start)
#1
Have a 2007 Vinson with only 25 hours on it. All of a sudden it decides it won't start. The last time it was run was about 3 weeks ago. The battery is fully charged (12.9v last I checked). What happens when starting is a clicking noise coming from the battery area. I'm not sure if the solenoid or starter died. It does run if your fortunate enough to get it started with the rope pull. I appreciate anyones ideas. Thanks!

when did you last check the battery....three weeks ago? It 'clicks' when there isn't enough juice left in the battery to turn it over. First and easiest thing to do is to charge the battery (first making sure it has water/acid in it) and then see if it will start.
When it starts with the rope, does it restart with the button after you have run the engine for a while and charged up the battery?

Thanks TexasRoadlawyer. I managed to get it running today. I did check the battery out at Advance and they said it was fine but told me it was putting out 400 cold cranking amps. I thought that was high for a atv battery. Just to double check, I went to NAPA as well and checked out fine with a different tester. My next step was to check the grounds and then rough up the battery and cable terminals. Put everything back together and hit the starter...she came to life. I'm a happy camper!!!
