Default need help finding a salvage yard

My sons rear differ went out on his 2004 suzuki ltz250.
I bought a used one and when putting back together noticed the splines on the axle were thin.
So now i need a rear axle .I have called all the yards that i can find and located 2.
I ordered one and after a 2 week wait they called and said it wasnt any good.
So i ordered the other and today they called and said it was already sold.
Now a month later and still no axle.
Anyone out there no where i can locate one or where a good salvage yard is?
Thanks

List price is just under 400 bucks...
I'd be calling Lonestar or durabend and see if they make one.
