Eiger Drive Belt Slipping

Eiger Drive Belt Slipping
I have a 2006 Eigre and the drive belt is slipping. It only happens when starting off or in reverse. Does this mean I need a new belt or is there a way to adjust the tension? I haven't opened it up yet, but wanted to ask so I had an idea what to look for when I did.
