go with a rincon for the trail and you will not be disappointed. it is fast, light, agile and small, it will take any big bore including the 850 sp and 1000 thundercat through trails especually if they are tight. polaris is the worst because they are big , bulky, and have horrible turning radiuses, and you will not be giving up any comfort

Not sure if the 2010 are out yet but even if they are, I don't believe there are any changes. Plus get one of those leftover 09's and save a buck!

Anyone have inside info if Suzuki will step up to the V-twin in the near future. I'd be willing to wait if 2011 or 12 they would bring a v twin in.

The question about a v-twin has been out there for a while. IF they would come out with one they wouldn't want anyone to know. Close guarded secrets on any manufacturers new models due to the fact too many people would wait to buy I think.

I work at a Suzuki dealer and there is no word or even speak of a twin. Have you looked at the Kawi Brute for an option? They run a V-Twin 750 and from 08 and up they have make huge improvements over the previous models, including FI, Better Suspention, Better seat and more.

Smile Naaa to the Brute

I ride with 2 08 750's and they have overheating issue's and tie rod issue's, bending them frequently. We do not mud, yea we ride thru mud but do bury them to the seat. they are running stock tire size. They are Xtr's. Plus i want to be different.

Since you work at a dealer what your experience with The King Quad and Brute or even Grizzly or Rincon. If you had your choice to buy one what would you buy.

Thank's for your opinion.

I did debate on all of them. This is what it came down to, the Honda was not what i was looking for, I wanted a big bore and belt drive, I have nothing against the hydrostatic trans, just wanted the belt. The Yamaha is a great product, but I have never been a Yamaha fan, I did test ride one just to make sure that its not what i wanted, and it wasn't. It had good power and handling but it didn't fit my body and riding style. So then it came down to the king quad and the brute. Both fuel injected, but i found that the suspension after one cheep tweek on the brute was hands down better. also the handlebar in the standing position was better on the brute. I do love the feel and sound of the v-twin. The horse power is close with the brute just inching above the king quad. I have never had any issues with overheating and it gets over 100 here in the summer, and I ride hard. Yes I have bent a tie rod, but it is an easy fix to keep u riding the rest of the day, and there are cheep aftermarket tougher ones out there. I ride with 2 king quads and they bend theirs just as much in the same situation. What sealed the deal was the warranty. Kawasaki is one of the best companies to work with when it comes to warranties. and the extended warranty on the machine covers it for 5 years! I'm super glad with my decision and I would do it again. let me know what you decide and if it is the brute ill let you know the cheep and free tips!

Thank's for your input. I 'll keep the Brute in mind. The only thing holding me back on the Zuki is no Twin. I do like the power my polaris has, but it handle's like a dump truck. I just want a good trail machine that won't beat me to death. i rode the Brute at Hatfield's and the low end is geat, I'm not lookin for top speed, but I sure do like the low end, it just seemed to ride so rough, I guess I wil have to get use to that on a lighter wheeler.

Thank's again

I've ridden the Brute and the have the King. The deciding factor for me was the stability and comfort of the King. Though the ground clearance is the sam, the King seems more stable and a softer ride. The power of the Brute twin was nice but I was leaning toward the better ride. As far as bending tie rods, I have never bent one and have ridden hard and rocky trails.
Your main decision seems to be the power of the Brute vs the ride of the King. The power is comparable but the King seems to have that extra low end grunt.
As far as warranty goes, if they are a good machine, warranties shouldn't be an issue.
