My '98 quadrunner was run a 2x4 by the previous owner, and to do so he removed the axles and the drive shaft. Now I'm pretty sure the front diff wirks, as you can turn where the shaft attaches and it turns the CV joints.

I'm looking for used axles on ebay and a few other years models are being sold, but not mine. So far I've found one from a different model that has the same part number from an OEM part supplier.

Does anyone know, what parts interchange so maybe I can broaden my search?
