I recently acquired an 87 LT either 250/230 4wd atv. Can anyone tell me how to do an oil change on this???

im pretty sure that suzuki never made a 230 4wd so im pretty sure its a 250.

theres a 3 bolt cover on the side, remove that to access you oil filter. and theres a drain plug probably on the bottom of the case. im pretty sure oil is added at a fill plug on the very back of the case behind the axle.

Thanks for replying!!! It was a super help.. now Im receiving conflicting answers on how much oil to put in when its changed.. answers??

 

hmmm there should be a number in ml stamped into or next to the oil fill plug. but otherwise im not sure.
