Default lt230

I got a lt230 last week, it had been sitting for a while so I cleaned the carb out, changed oil and put fresh gas in it. Pulled the plug to see if it was firing and it was so I placed the plug back in, choked it and kicked it a few times and it start for about 2 seconds and died as soon as I tried to give it gas. It revd for like a split second before it croaked. So I tried to kick it over again and could tell it wasnt firing. So I pulled the plug back out and its not firing now and I cant seem to figure it out, I tried 3 different plugs too and still a no go. I pulled the plastic off and the tank and tracked down all the wires to make sure everything was plugged in and they were. Even took off the stator cover and wiped off the flywheel and made sure there wasnt anything messed up. Any suggestions as to why its not firing? Thanks.

Hmm, a nice strong blue spark wouldnt just crap out, if it was weak yellow or something I could see it happeneing. Did you verify all the connections were tight to the coil?

Check the vault, there's a good wiring diagram in there and the specs for testing the various components.
