Hi all I am new to this forum and I am about to purchase a second hand quad. The guy tells me it may be a 2006 model with a 350 engine but I am unable to find any info on these things. Also it is not running. Iam told it is the cdi unit but not sure. Ive never owned a bike before so I wouldnt mind some help thanks guys.

Well....I've been a Suzuki guy since they first decided to put the 4th wheel on a trike. Now granted, I probably don't know EVERY quad they've ever made but I no not ever recall Suzuki putting any 350cc engine in an ATV.....

The only 350 Suzuki I know if is the DR350 Enduro dirt bike.....

If Suzuki did have a 350, it was short lived and I don't think it was in 2006 that's for sure. Maybe back in the 1980s or early 1990s a DR350 engine got stuck into some ATV but I would be news to me......

 

I have Suzuki 350cc engine in a frame for which the VIN suggests a 1992 LTF250!

Getting multiple sparks per revolution which are weak and she won't start. Changed the CDI but to no effect. Pickup coil measures 124Ohms. Plenty of wires coming out of engine so no idea where to go from here!
