84 LT 185 Multiple Issues

84 LT 185 Multiple Issues
Ok so I just bought a non running 185 for pretty cheap and got it to run but having several issues.
1) Air Intake has air going out
2) White smoke
3) Air Fuel screw and Throttle screw make very little difference in adjustments
I have cleaned the carb and replaced the lines. Please help me figure out what to try next. This is my first time attempting to repair a 4 wheeler.
