got a lt230 e for free, 1991, i posted some pictures of it and what i did so far is:

.Primary drive sprockets and chain
.new wheel bearings and seals, front and rear
.new chain case cover thing and hardware (suzuki)
HID headlight bulb mod 8000k (70 bucks for two ballests and bulbs)
.cobra exhaust
.k&n filter and wrap
.jetted
.front bumper and rear garb bar painted
.new battery
.a whole lot of other small parts from suzuki (=400 worth)

.250r rear axle

.new BKT AT-111 x-drive tires, two inches smaller than stock all the way around

.sandblasted and pro painted black stock wheels


i'm planning a 260cc big bore kit and stage 1 hot cam or perhaps another.


alot of parts like the exhaust and filter say they fit the s only but there isnt much difference between the S (sport) and this.

QUESTION IS, any suggestions to preformance products/websites? Anything you've done yourself?

what i did and am very very pleased with is taking the stock air box out and put on a k&n filter right on the carb throat. now it feels literaly like a different quad performance wise.
it increased my throttle responce and got another aBOUT 5 MPH out of it and increased torque although stock they must be the torquest quads ive worked on.
if you need me to explain exactly how i did it i can but sounds like u know what ur doin
