I picked up a 1986 suzuki 125 today, I can get it to run if I pour gas down the carb but only for a couple of seconds. Any idea why this could happen thanks.

 

well since you just bought it id start off by breaking down the carb and cleaning it bc you cant always trust what people tell you when yu buy something you just have find out yourself. but yea clean the carb real good and by what your saying that should work. happy ridding

 

Do you think I should take it apart and let it soak in carb cleaner overnight. Or do you soak them in gas thanks
