Then you're just doing the BBK since that seems to be what you have your mind set on. With that kind of money (If you do the CW kit) you would also be able to change to DRZ valve springs (double spring as opposed to stock single) and a DRZ base gasket (single layer as opposed to triple layer). The valve springs will safely allow the use of an aftermarket CDI and the base gasket will increase compression.
Here's a thought as well... Drze Kits - SuzukiCentral

see above:
If you get the CW kit instead of the Athena kit you should save 100-150 bucks. While you have it apart install the single layer base gasket, DID cam chain and DRZ valve springs.
The next easy mod would be a CDI. That's plug and play and will allow you about 800-1000 more rpms out of your engine. Not recommended without the upgraded valve springs.

just like the athena.....supposedly the Athena has bigger water jackets and allows more water to circulate then stock but that's it. I've never overheated.
Piston, jug, gasket kit.
I have cw kit and hot cams (and a bunch of other stuff) and it's a decent set-up. There are better cams out there but I don't really know much about cams. I got a good deal on a used set so that's the direction I went.
