Default Ltz400 rear shock for a fat boy

I am 225 to 240 depending on the time of the year. Where can I get my rear shock reworked to handle my girth.... Thanks for any help.

there are several shock companies that will rework stock shocks at a significantly lower cost than buying new aftermarket shocks. If you will look at a Dirtwheels magazine, the back half is full of ads for many of those companies. I'll see if I can find some and respond in the next day or so if nobody else does

GT Thunder will revalve and install a different spring and has a different rear link. I've heard nothing but good things about them and I actually am in the processs of working out a deal for a GT Thunder rear shock/link myself.
You could also just replace the spring. Works Performance will sell you a spring tailored to your weight and riding style.
I just bought triple rate springs for my front shocks from Works and will just run them till the end of the season then I am going to send them in to Works to have them gone through.
