Default Stock 2007 Suzuki Eiger ???'s

I have a Suzuki Eiger 4x4 auto I bought new in 2007. It currently only has 400 miles on it and I recently moved to an area where I will be riding much much more. I am wondering if my bone stock eiger will handle a 26" ITP Mudlite Bigfoot Kit? I really dont like the stock tires and would like to go bigger if it wont have any ill effects on my atv. Thanks in advance for your help. I am also open to suggestions on tires for trail and a little mud. I just like the looks of the mud lite.

ive had a couple of eigers it will run fine with 26,s ive used them before on the eiger, you lose a little bit of quickness off the start if you gun it. about all you will notice. i prefer 25,s on the eiger, but 26,s will be just fine ,gives you a little more clearence.

The Eiger will handle the 26's just fine and as for tires I to recommend radials but I like the ITP Reptiles, I currently have them on my wifes Rancher or the ITP XTR's which I have on my Vinson

my father=-in-law seems to think some 26" mudlites on ITP SS212 wheels will destroy the rear end of my eiger. Is this true? How much heavier would this combo be over the stock tires and steel rims?

I have 26" Mudlites on my 500 Vinson and they work very well. There was a noticeable loss of low end power over the stock 25" tires.

With 100cc's less on your Eiger, you might want to reconsider going that large, and instead stay at 25" as wa3rh suggests...that way you will keep the low end you need to get out of the mud and climb hills

The Eiger will handle the 26" tire just fine, I know guys that run 27s on the eiger in heavy mud here in Texas with no problems.

I had a Yamaha Kodiak 450 (421cc) with 26" Mudlites then Swamplites and didn't have any trouble. Traded it in at 2500 miles with only the normal changes. I now have Zilla's on my 700 King (27") and have the best luck with these tires while having issues with the Mudlites. Take a look at ATV Mud Tires - ATV wheels - Cheap ATV Tires - Big Wheel Kits - Sand Paddles store. Good website for tires and some weight info as well.
Good luck and enjoy those tires whatever you choose.
