Howdy, I'm having what seems to be (after quite a bit of hunt and peck troubleshooting of the fuel system) a starvation problem with this rig. What I'm seeking here is if anyone has had any experience with these and a similar situation. Near new, probably no more than 50-100 hours total since new. The engine is perfect mechanically, no problems with the carb, petcock, vacuum supply, etc. all of which I already have thoroughly examined. It really seems like it just needs a bigger main jet. Stock seems to be a 58, Mikuni carb. It is used by a small girl, who hasn't been able to ride it much due to this problem. I work in a small indie shop part-time, and have long retired out of big stuff in the past, so I'm sure up to the task, just tryin' to get as much info as possible. I just got a brainstorm (after some medical anesthesia wore off today) that since after I posted this question I found out it has a rev-limiter, so I'm going to look into that tomorrow.
