250r motor on 230

Default 250r motor on 230

Will a 250r motor bolt up on a 230s frame

Don't do it! You won't gain any handling or stability. The frame isn't even that much lighter than the 250 frame.

I have a 230 and its smokin and i was thinkin instead of overhaulin it that i could put a 250 on it

can more work plus maybe the switch will be as expensive as rebuilding. but have seen people put quite different engines in quads

Cheaper and faster to just rebuild the old 230. Put a big bore kit in it if you want. i don't think the frame will match up well with the power the R motor will bring.

it will go in with some mods and its a lot of fun. the frame isnt any lighter true.......but it is smaller and if your are a smaller person and like to ride tight trails it would be a fun ride
