old suzuki trouble?

Default old suzuki trouble?

hello everyone, 4wheeler dude from pennsylvania,i have a 1985 lt 230s suzuki. when it gets warm it wont idle,im having a hard time figuring it out ,and want to know if anyone else has had this problem,or if anyone can give me any ideas where to look. i have checked the carb,coil cdi,and they all seem to be fine.will the stator make it act like this? any suggestions would be greatly appriciatedthanks again 4heeler dude in PA.

Check all your rubber boots for air leaks, did you trying adjusting the air idle screw? Its the larger brass screw on the left side of the carb. Turn it counter clockwise until she idles. You may have something in your pilot jet 2, that will cause your problem. Also check all your grounds. Good Luck!

Default Check valve clearance

Might be getting a tight valve at full temperature. Check them to make sure its not tigtened up over the years. I've seen it happen a few times.
