Does anybody know if fuel will leak out when you stand your quad on it's rear wheels so you can look at the underside? What's the easiest way to get it stood up on it rear wheels?

If it does it will only be what is in the carb,, the fuel pump won't pass any fuel unless the engine is running. As for getting it up there, just fire it up and goose the throttle! lol Got a winch on the front? THat'll do it ,,if not you better call a couple of good friends..By the way, what did you need to look at? If you need any advice I'broke just about everything you can break on the 500,,,I've also got a shop manual here for it if you need any info!!

if your float is stuck, it'll leak. other than that. go for it. they lift the quads on their a$$es all the time in the magazines without any problems. a quad that big, I'd need a chain hoist lol.
my quadracer I had never leaked at all when I flipped it up on its rear end. to me, thats the only way you can possibly clean the underside is with it up.

Thanks for the reply's. I do have a winch so I think I'll try that if popping the throttle does not work. I just wanted to get a good look at the underside to see if the underside is getting tore up.
