Recently, i drove to TN to pick up a 1998 suzuki quad runner 250. I have ridden it many times before as it once belonged to my older brother. The last time it was ridden was probably about a year ago when the brakes seized. When it did run, the spark plug had to be replaced constantly. Now i cant even turn it over because the battery is bad in it. Since then it has been sitting outside where it was not protected from weather. I'm hoping to restore it to its glory days. As of right now i know the brakes and rear tires need replacing. All of the fluids need to be changed as well. This, however, is not the reason im posting. The reason for that is that oil has gotten into the head of the engine. I have asked around and have been told that it could be that the valve stem seals need replacing or that the valves need adjusting. Im not entirely sure how to do this and where these things are located. Help please?
