i cant for the life of me get the clutch side crank case cover off this bike, ive never worked on one before so i imagine im doing something wrong, i've removed every nut and bolt but it wont budge more then an 8th inch. help would be wonderful

did you remove the screw where the oil filter is, also did you remove the clutch lever?

 

worked on that same cover on my LT230e the other day... I almost forgot the Screw that is on the Right hand side of the cover it's located under that Circle Small Cover which is your Oil Filter Area..Unbolt them 3 screws/bolts and remove the oil filter and inside that Hole there is another small bolt on the right hand side..then it should slide right off, Also Remove the Starter and foot rest and Rear foot brake peddle... the rest should be just bolts...
