Welcome to the forums, if you stick around long enough you will learn that we are pretty knowledge and may be able to help you in the future but if you, I or anyone else makes a comment that can backfire everyone will take advantage. Like mentioned, it's the type of racing.
MX:: Suzuki is king at the moment with Honda a close 2nd. Yamaha is barely in the race but Thomas Brown did get the YFZ in the top 5 a cpl times this year. Yam should be kissing his butt.
XC:: Sort of a 3 way tie. Zuki/Yam/Honda. Yamaha is at it's best at XC cuz a high HP motor is not needed and the new YFZ's handle great.
In the 4x4 classes the renegade rules the roost. The grizzleys and wolverines do well.
Side x sides: The Yam has the upper edge but the RAZR's are right there.
WORCS and ITP quadcross: Hard to say, the westies are slow...Sorry, no sugar coating.
Anyone notice I didn't mention the 700's and such? Other than Honda whoopin up at the Baja, who ta heck races a 700/660? Not ragging on em but just not a race quad...Deff pears.
How's them apples?
I am told that the IRS is a thing of the future for all quads.
