Out of the 3 major 2 stroke 3wheelers ( Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki ) the Kawasaki Tecate 3 was fastest, then Honda then Yamaha. I have no idea of the top speed of the Tiger. The problem with doing a hybrid 250cc 3 wheeler with a 500cc dirtbike engine is vibration. Dirtbikes don't have counterbalancers and the engines have a tendancy to break the trike's motormounts.

Air filter? What's that got to do with the top 10??
IMO nothing wrong with the stock air filter. If you feel the need for a new one, stick with a foam filter and good filter oil.
