Lt80 power loss???

Default Lt80 power loss???

Hi all i have a lt80 thats lost its full revs it sounds like my old 50cc moped when it got to 30mph.
It starts fine ticks over fine revs up fine untill it reaches high revs then it sound like a resricter comes in.
Any ideas anyone manythanks in advance.

Something in carb?
Pipe plugged? I'm leaning toward that.

The pipe can get plugged from residue from unburnt oil/gas/etc.
No air out means no air in. Put your hand behind the pipe and see if it has good air flow. If the pipe is plugged, you should know it. Don't get burnt.
From what you desribe, I'm thinking the pipe is a good place to start.
There are other things but let's go from there.
