does anyone know where i can get a used stator cover i tried just about everywhere.

You may have to watch ebay for a while to get one. Many were destroyed when people had their chains come off. I don't know if the 230 would work for the 250, if it would work it will make it easier to find one.

They are the same for 250S and 230S

thanks i rebuilt the broken one with jb weld it doesnt leak should hold for now till i find 1. took it down 2 the frame painted everything put in new bearings added headlights and led tailight got rear plastic from a 2001 suzuki ? off ebay and modified it to work with the seat. almost done! engine has some gear noise dont know if it is normal when idleing. will the stator be able to run two 50watt halogen headlights or should i drop a battery in it to help?

50 watts is all the magneto can handle. 45 for the headlight and 5 for the tail.

I don't know how you would add a battery unless its a separate system from the quad's wiring. I know goki has a starter and battery system that works, but no idea how they keep the battery charged from the engine.
