glad to hear it.
I just wish it would warm up a little so I could get my buddies out.

If all goes as planned I can take a spin on my buddies 550 griz next Sunday he is the one that had Mad Mike do his clutch.
I rode his bike before he had the work done to compare and it felt just like my King and I cant wait to see what it is like now.

I will give an update....
I dont have a link from the shoot out but the 550 griz and the 500 king are pretty close as far as power and take off goes.

I never sold my invention to Mad Mike, he asked if he could machine them, and I told him yes, because I wanted to scale back.

I am doing a new Mod#3+, and Mod#4.
You can check my new video out at my web site.

Coop's Clutch Mod's - Coop's Clutch Mods

or here

YouTube - Coop Mod#4

Sorry Coop - There are so many posts (which you are aware of) and I read that you sold your technique to Mad Mike.
I am glad that you are still in business and people like you are doing this for the riding public.
****
As for last Sunday, I rode and my buddy with the Mad Mike mods did not. So I am sorry to say I still have not had the chance to check it out.
****
And a second side.
Someone cut a bunch of trees down for a new gas well blocking our trail and I went over the tress (didnt feel a thing) and dropped down onto the trail and my bike drove right with my bars turned left and I drove up onto a berm and did a slow roll onto my side. (I was going slow and traveled maybe 10 feet) I was so shocked when I tipped myself back over I saw both my wheels were pointed out. Bent a tie rod and for the life of me I cant figure out how?? Must have got it between a stump and a log but never felt a thing. I am at work now and I am going to bring my bike in and defrost it and see exactly what I need to get back on the road.

This is the weekend, Saturday the clutch is coming out and it will be shipped out Monday. I am looking forward to seeing/feeling the difference. I will post again once it is done.

Also going to fix the tie rod and change the oil.
Still for the life of me cant figure out how I bent it? All I can say is power steering kicks butt.

Mods 1+2 and that is the primary clutch and the fixed plate. I am also getting lighter rollers.
The natural spring is the only color avail from EPI (for the King 500) Adam at Airdam said not necessary to change it for my riding style.

Pulled everything out and the parts are cleaned and ready to go sitting in my truck right now. I have copies of my receipt at work so I am going to try and ship it at lunch tomorrow in a flat rate box from the post office.. With any luck I will have the parts in this weekend to take a quick run around if not it will be the following week for sure.

Never pulled a clutch before really pretty easy.
Here are some tips my buddy shared with me.
Use a piece of cardboard and draw a basic drawing of the cover and push the bolts through in relation to where you pulled them this allows for the bolts to go back the way you pulled them.
On the secondary clutch use screws and insert them into the holes near the center shaft. Dont tighten to the secondary but get them to bite and the further in the more tension is released. This allows you to remove the belt with ease to get the primary off the shaft.

On a side note the tie rod is a little sketchy and I will see how it looks after being pressed. I am on the fence about just buying a new one. I guess I will wait and see.

your buddy gave you some good info.

2 of your cover bolts work great for the release of the secondary sheaves

when you get your sheave back there are 3 holes near the out side take a 3/8 tap and tap the holes no drilling needed they will tap just fine. now you can put 2 bolts in there with a bar to hold the sheave so you can torque the nut back down. Just a thought it worked great on mine and my buddys 400 king.

I think you will be very happy with the new mod.

I would replace the tie rod just to be safe but thats just me
