bought a very nice 07 z400 yesterday and i got it home and after i unloaded it notice that there was some electric tap on 2 small wires coming from the clutch.upon looking more i found out that they were cut and twisted together.there are 2 wires..one is yellow and black and the other is black.someone told me that they could have done this to bypass the clutch safety..???

 

yep, you should be able to start it without holding in the clutch if those two wires are twisted together.

 

yep had to do that to mine after a ..........little oops i had , call it a crash
