Default is a ltz 400 to big for a 14 year old

look im 14 and ive had a magnum 440 4x4 from polaris and sold it for a ozark 250 ivd had this quad since i was 8. i have over grown this quad and im thinking of buying a ltz 400 but i dont now if its to much power for me. but as i said im a realy good driver on my quad only had 2 accidents and they where not bad they where all flips going at 15-10 mph im a responsivle driver and i now this thing has power. okay guy tell me what you think

Whats his riding skills? When I was 14 years old I trail rided with a 1985 KX 250 (pic), that would smoke most any atv ATVs made.

as long as he is good at riding and using the clutch he should be fine if he is responsible. he'll love it

hell no! go big or go home. Id get him a 450. 400..450.. there both fast. whats the differance? anything smaller and all his friends gonna laugh at him and tell him to get a bigger bike. make your 14yr old the big dog on campus.

Can you use a clutch? If so, I'd say go for it!
