Suzuki Eiger Flywheel Removal
#1
I pulled the side cover and removed all fastners to the magnetic flywheel. I tried a two prong puller w/no luck. Is the flywheel threaded or on a taper shaft. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank,s steve931

Hi i have a 2003 eiger that the magnets have let go. Rickstator.com has a puller for about 40 dollars. I understand that the magnets glue releaseing is becomming a big problem on the eiger engines. I have gotten in tuch with one of the larger apoxie makers. They told me that using a glue or apoxie to stick a magnet to steel is a very bad design. The glue is forced out by the natural pull of the magnet and has no choise but to turn loose over time. They are looking at process that will work and they are going to call me back. But i am going to need some broken flywheels and magnets to work with. If any of you would like to help find a cure let me know.
