Default random backfire

Just got out of the woods after some pretty good/heavy riding and took the back road home (maybe 2 blocks) on pavement so I had it up to 40-45 mph and all the sudden my 450 KQ backfires on me. Just wondering if this was from something I did on my ride or just random? anything to worry about or look for? thx all

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have only had this quad a month or so but it has never done this before

Pretty much just a straight away at about 40 mph then a fairly abrupt deceleration

I know that most people complain about this also. As it seems the muffler holds in gas. and once you throttle hard and let off it will backfire. I've seen a few drill a small hole in the muffler to allow the gass build up to escape. Doesn't bother me as i am use to it. I like to see people dunk and move when it backfires though.
