I've also seen the King do 55-56 on pavement or really hard packed gravel.

Stock in the low 40s. Mine will do 52-55 quite easily on gravel. Not sure about pavement. This is with std tire inflation.

You guys have been watching too much TV. The King is a bull, not a racer. It's only going to get you where you want to go. If 45-48 MPH is n't fast enough for you, don't buy a KQ. I've had mine going 54 MPH, by GPS and that was scary 'cause the quad actually started to talk to me! If that ever happens again, I'm taking the DynoJet and SuperTrapp, off! I'll keep the Titans, so I don't get stuck...

I have a 2000 King Quad 300 and on hard pack gravel or pavement I get a consistant 52 - 54mph all the time. the machine is stock.
