Default 300 King Quad

Long story short, picking up a 1999 Suzi KQ and its got 200 miles on it, Its Brand New practically, never been off roaded, been sitting in a garage for the last 10 years. So aside from draining the tank and cleaning the carb out what else if anything should I do to get this thing going.

Oil change.

Check the drum brakes - could be a film of rust that may cause binding. If it's sat in one place and hasn't been moved yet, it's possible that the brakes have locked up. This is especially likely on the fronts. The KQ went to disc up front, but I think it was after the '99 model year.

Check the tires for cracking sidewalls.

Clean air filter

Only other thing I can think of is to look for any damage from critters - mice can nest in air boxes or elsewhere and can chew wires and fuel lines - stuff like that.
