To lt550r:
Did CT port your machine or did you just get a "bolt-on" kit? I want to get my Zilla ported within the next couple of months and am debating on where to go. I have Duncan Racing's bolt-on kit so it would make sense to have them do the porting. However, their customer relations are poor (rude and unhelpful over the phone) and their porting price is higher than that of competitors. What is your opinion of CT? Also, I wanted to remark that I have had this quad for six years and haven't fouled a plug since getting a properly jetted 39mm PWK four years ago. This is despite the fact that I ride mostly in tight wooded areas. I do agree with your thoughts on the handling of a Quadzilla though. It can be a bear but well worth it!

ct actually did the porting. I am very satisfied with the motor work and overall I am fairly satisfied, however that is growing lower every day waiting on a refund. my experience so far is that it took longer than what i was told by 2 weeks to get the engine back, not a really big deal, I also wanted my case inserts redone, they were honest enought to tell me that it wasn't neccessary at this time which i appreciate. However, i sent a money order down for full payment including labor for the cases and after calling now four different occasions over a 2 week period trying to get my money back i have yet to recieve a refund for the work they did not do on the cases. I am now growing a little less patient each day

The one I just got will do 98 mph according to the radar gun. The previous owner said he would have gotten a triple digit speed if he coulda gotten better traction.

THE ZILLA IS MY CHOICE OF RIDES IN JUST ABOUT ANY TERRIAN. I HAVE 4 QUADS A 2000 DUCKS UNLIMTIDED SPORTSMAN 500, 2000 400EX, AND 2 ZILLA'S. ONE OF MINE HAS THE CT POWER PACKAGE AND THE OTHER IS CURRENTLY BEING BUILT BY TUDOR'S PERFORMANCE TO RUN ON ALCHOL AND SPIN A TURBO UNIT. CT DOES FAIR WORK BUT I DON'T CARE FOR THEIR HOG IT ALL OUT PORTING METHOD, IT RUNS GREAT BUT THERE IS BETTER TECHINQUES OUT THERE THAT WORK BETTER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TUDORS IN CORONA CALI HE IS A PERFECTIONIST WHICH IS WHY I RECOMMEND SEND IN YOUR WORK DURING YOUR OFF SEASON AS IT TAKES HIM SOMETIME BUT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. AS FOR BEAT THE DS AND RAPTOR, IT BLOWS THEM AWAY I HAVE A RAPTOR IN MY SHOP THAT BELONGS TO MY UNCLE AND I DESTROYEDIT. ALONG WITH A PIPED AND JETTED ONE AT DUMONT DUNES LAST WEEKEND. THE RAPTOR IS A GREAT OUT OF THE BOX RIDE BUT I STILL PREFER MY ZILLA BY FAR. CHECK OUT TUDOR'S SITE BY CLICKING THE LINK AT www.QUADZILLATHON.COM BUY IT AND ENJOY ANY QUESTIONS WHEN YOU GET IT DROP ME A LINE I HAVE BUILT SEVERAL CUSTOM ZILLA'S.

We sold my dad's 87 zilla about 5 months ago.It was bored .080 over, wiseco piston,FMF gold series fatty, power core silencer, ported, ram valve and had a 40mm khein pwk. That thing was SUPER fast!He raced a shee with toomey's,ported, bored and coolheads and beat it by about 6 bikes! The only thing to ever beat it was a LRD370 longrod shee. With paddles. That was the fastest bike I have seen yet.I am being honest that it would loft loft the front tires in 5 IF it didn't spin the tires. It was crazy. That is why he sold it.

He also had a stroker zilla in a LT250r frame that was wicked to.But it was to hard to ride and kick over.My dad is about 250 pounds and he had to jump on the kick starter to make it go down slowly!
