Lt230s Help! Need crap ton of parts for resto
So I totally trashed my 86 lt230s last season. I need some parts to get it going. Lots of parts. For starters:
Engine bottom end casing (magneto cover side is cracked)
Magneto cover
Swingarm
Steering shaft (I'll probably buy one new)
Shipping is to Calgary Canada.
Thanks!

Just a quick question. If my primary coil (the power coil) shows 600 ohms resistence, would that cause it to not run? Manual spec says 100-200 ohms. Im just curious at what point it stops producing.
Last year, I had what I thought was the primary coil rebuilt, and I actually had the lighting coil rebuilt haha. When I was riding it on its last ride, It was missing and running crappy for about 20 minutes before it finally gave up the ghost.

Hey I cant fix your magneto cover problem, but I am making a sprocket and case saver combo. I have the mold made I just need to find some aluminum and figure out how to melt it. I will tell you how it goes, and if it works it might save your new future magneto cover.
Its funny, I was inspecting my magneto cover today, and the only damage was closer to the outside, where the bolts go through, just the edges were cracked off. (I'll get pics). The real damage was a crappy JB weld repair a previous owner did to the engine case itself. Im going to attempt a JB weld repair myself. I'd definately be interested in a sproket/case saver though. Would prevent future headaches.
