ltz400 vs ltr450

Should i get a ltr450 or a ltz400. I do alot of trail rideing but love to go fast and drg race. Also i am thinking about racing. But I want a quad that is very relible and not always needing costly repairs.

get the ltz400...i wish i would have kept mine.thought i wanted a 450..

If you have any serious thoughts of racing, get the 450 and budget for inevitable repairs. Racing and low maintenance never go together.

The 450 has the Suzuki RM 450 motocross racing motor, the 400 used the more mellow DRZ 400 dual sport motorcycle motor.

IMO, I'd get the LTR.
It needs nothing to race.
Unlike the 400 if you decide to race.
The LTR can trail ride fine.
