Default Valve specs LT-4WD

Can anyone tell me the exact size of the intake valve on a 1987 Suzuki LT-4WD. It should be the same as the LT-F250 as well as many others. As far as I can tell the same valve was used for nearly 15 years on various models. I need to figure out if my head is bad or if its just the valve. I really do not have the money to waste on guessing and I happen to have a micrometer at my disposal. Both the head and the valve look to be perfect but when I put the valve cover on then the valve is unable to fully seal due even though the adjustment screw is all the way out. I should have 15mm gap on the intake I believe but with full loosing of the valve adjustment its still holding the valve open.

I believe the intake should be set at .007mm and the exhaust at .013mm.
