I don't know much about quads but work on mine because I am off work for a while. I have a 95 king quad that won't start. I charged the battery, when i try to start it i just get a clicking sound. I didn't know where to start. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

First thing to check would be the cable themselves. Make sure all their all clean and the ground is good.

I checked the cables and cleaned them. I had the battery tested at a Flint Hills battery and it tested good. I tried starting it a few minutes ago and each time i hear a click, 1 time it tried to turnover but quit and acted like it didn't have enough to turn it over.

You likely need to double check your connections and wires and make sure they are tight and clean, Look also at the ground for the starter, no rust. ect.

If you jump the solenoid with a screw driver on the two posts, what happens ?

Also if you jump right to the starter with jumper cables to a car or truck. what happens ?

You might try these things to more determine where the problem is at.

If the battery is good and the starter is good and the connections at the battery and starter and ground are all good. and if the starter jumped directly works.

It could be a contact issue by the relay switch, or starter push button on the handlebars or somewhere in between.

When in neutral and the ign key turned all the way over, does the neutral light come on ?

While I do not have this newer of a model. I have experience this issue before.
