Default How Much Would You Pay For An '07 Z400

I have a '07 Suzuki Z400 that I am working on to try to sell. It is yellow with the blue frame, it has a 440 big bore, ported head, Kibblewhite oversize valves and springs, UNI filter, White Bros exhaust, and a lightened flywheel. It is very clean with a Blingstar graphics kit and seat cover. I was just wondering what it is worth or how much should I list it for?

With the economy what it is, and it's just about the end of the riding season for a sport quad in most places, it's not worth as much now as it would be in the spring. Hard to say what it's worth. Lots of pricing changes by area of the country. Best thing to do is check the blue book value, then check the local classifieds and see what others like yours are selling for. Put a price on it and see what happens.

Are you getting a replacement?

Good luck with the sale.

I seen a guy got a brand new 400ex off the floor for 3500.
Nice mods but you prolly won't get any more $ out of the machine.
Like scooter said, with the economy it's hard to sell and get top dollar.

Depending on what Greece decides on the world stage I would ask $200 for it.

Thanks guys.

Scooter, I'm not going to replace it, I have a RZR that I ride now that I'm keeping. I actually traded my Tri-Z for the Z400. I had the 3 wheeler 4 sale for a while but figured I could sell the Z400 faster. The 400 came with all the mods, I would have prefered it to be stock. It had a valve that dropped at low RPM and damaged the piston, so I put a new piston in and new valves, I hope to have it running by this weekend.

Trading for guns, grenades, tanks and bazookas wouldn't be a bad idea..............maybe then I could at least keep the looters away when the s****t hits the fan.

Don't know about throttle response, but as far as trail riding goes, a sprocket change is a big help. My 06 liked it quite a bit.
