Default 2011 King Quad 750 V Belt 27601-31G00

Does anyone know where I can find the best price for a OEM V/Drive Belt 27601-31G00.... Powersportsplus.com has it for $159.03. Also should I get a aftermarket belt to replace it with, as my bike has only 12hrs and 49 miles on it. I did go through a nice size water hole but my bike never killed, the belt started slipping and eventually burned. My bike was bought brand new, 2011 Suzuki King Quad 750(NO power steering).

Wow, that sucks! I have the exact same machine. It has 1200 miles on it and the original OEM belt is still working great. I've flooded the belt housing several times but never burned it up. If you get into deep water again try to use low range (if the belt starts to slip) and go real easy on the throttle to minimize the chances of burning it up. I bet if you do that you'll get a lot better life out of the next belt regardless of brand.

Oh, FYI the belt housing on our quads is a joke. There are metal inserts molded or pressed into the plastic housing on the machine side and they strip out of the plastic housing which makes them pretty much useless. I fixed a couple of mine with some JB Weld but I wasn't thrilled with the quality of my repair. So anyway, be careful taking the cover off and even more so when putting it back together (DON'T OVER-TIGHTEN) and maybe having some JB Weld or epoxy handy would be a good idea

I can't say if these brands are any good or not but Rocky Mountain ATV has a Goodyear belt for $57 and an EPI Severe Duty belt for $119. I was really happy with Rocky Mountain ATV when I bought new wheels & tires from them.

Good Luck!

P.S. Welcome to the forum!
