Default 04 Suzuki quad sport 50 oil injection question

I have, I believe is a 2004 suzuki quad sport ATV i am working on for a buddy. I took the carb off to clean it, but when I tried to put it back on, I could not figure out where an oil line would hook up to the carb. I see where a hose goes from the oil tank to the motor, but nothing else from there. Its a 2 stroke of course, so i am afraid to run it without making sure the oil injection is hooked up. Please help guys. Thanks!!!

should be a small nipple on the bell of the carb for the oil hose to hook to, so oil gets injected with the gas going into the engine. It usually is on the engine side, so the oil doesnt gum up the carb parts.

I see where it goes into the carb, but I can't find where it comes out from the oil pump. It has a banjo bolt on a hose coming from the oil tank but nothing beyond that. There no sign of a nipple coming off were the oil pump is.

My only experience is with the older LT80, it had an oil pump driven off the front clutch variator, with the drive going to a small pump on the top front of the belt drive cover, the oil line went from the tank to that, then from there up to the carb. Sorry I cant be of any more help. Have you tried to google a printout of the oil injection system? I looked, and the only diagram I could get was the clutch cover/pump system, it shows the pump assembly and the banjo bolt and hose coming off, not sure if that is what goes to the carb or comes from the oil tank, any Suzuki dealers nearby? maybe you could look at an LT50 and see how its routed.

Thanks wolv. I think I will check next week at the local Powersports shop. Maybe I am overlooking where a hose should come out at. I searched on the web but didn't have a whole lot of luck. It's frustrating, I can see the place for hose on carb but not where the hose should come from. Whoever worked on it before has a clear hose from the oil injection nipple on carb to bowl drain. I dunno. Thanks for the help though!

A hose from the bowl drain to the pump? sounds like the former owner was a bit confused and left you with a little mess. The diagram I found is a little different from the LT80 set up on my old 87, so looking at a more current model would probably be your best bet.

Oil is not injected at carb only to crank case through the banjo bolt. And is only pumped when the back tires are turning.
