Here's really stupid question for you. How do i know which one of those carbs i need? Is there somewhere on the atv to find out?

i could be wrong, but it's been my experience that once you confirm your make, model, year, cc, etc...., the carb for that particular quad is common. even if they made 2 or 24,000 quads identical to your quad, the carb will be the same. now mods are different if you've upped the intake or whatever. but factory will be the same. just call the dealer and give all the pertinent information that is needed and they can give you a part number or whatever.

okay i have spent the past day or two sending out emails and making phone calls so now im just waiting to see if someone has one. I'm thinking about just doing a rebuild kit off ebay and giving it a try.

Ive been trying to add a profile pict but no such luck loading it haha. Well i started on the brake problem as i am waiting for my rebuild kit and found that the rear drum is frozen :/ oh well more fun on the way!

good deal. i'm sure it will. at least you'll have a spare carb to tinker with and learn more about.

Im right at sea level. I think im just going to try anf get her running first before i mess with anything else. Where do you guys buy shop maunals?
