I have a 85 suzuki 230 quadsport. im new to fourwheelers, well repairing them and im curious on how my clutch works, when in nutral the chain gear attached to the motor spins freely, and in gear when the clutch is pulled it doesnt, idk if its supposed to or not, but it dont so any help on that would be appreciated

 

The thing that I would check is, put the quad in gear and try to push it with the clutch in. If it does not roll, try to adjust the clutch cable. Good luck. If I reading your message right, you are saying that the gear moves freely which it should when in neutral.
