Default lt250r starting problems

I have an 86 lt250r that starts up first kick cold yet when it gets heated up it wont start and needs to be push started. She runs great when she is fired up but just wont start back up. we cleaned the jets and moved the started up a notch but still no luck, sometimes she will though. I think it may be because the previous owners ran it way to rich and the muffler and pipe are all gunked up. any help would be appreciated.

I was trying to help and didn't realize it was a two stoke sorry you smart@ss! I just love forums, you've got these people out in the world who are just waiting for someone to make a mistake so they can feel good about themselfs after they try to make someone else look stupid. I hope this helps you out but I only hope that others will see that you don't really need help just someone to step on! Have a nice day!

It sounds like it may be low on compression.

Damn dude, don't take **** so personal! I said it as a joke, but I'm not going to make you feel better about you're rant by telling you I'm sorry.

And to the original poster, compression should be checked, but the fact that it starts easy cold, but not hot sounds like jetting issues.

It's:: not : )
Plus there should be a comma after joking.
And it's raised, not rised.

I know...You can't help it... j/k

AND.....It's still a compression problem.......................LOL

Compression seems great. i do notice it feels a little bit easier though when it is hot.
