Are these good atvs?

I want to get a small sport atv for my wife, she likes the size of my old 230 quadsport, so I would like to stick with something along that size and weight. The z400 is too big.

The only requirement is that Whatever I get has to have an electric starter.

I'd also prefer something with a clutch.

I have to admit that the shaft drive concerns me. It just doesn't look natural on a sport quad. Is the shaft drive fairly reliable?

FWIW, I wouldn't have a problem using an old lt230s, or lt250r frame as a starting point, I just can't find an engine that seems like a good fit for the requirements.

 

My 03 is a 400 4x4 has a shaft ive been ride mine hard for years stuff i probly shouldnt do with it and its held up great and im a big guy but does not have clutch its auto
