Default Basic LT160 mods

My sister has a LT160 that she wants me to do a little work on, and to give it a tad more power. She's having trouble climbing some of the hills around our house. It's also having a little trouble with the carb, so I was going to open the airbox, and then rebuild/rejet the carb accordingly.

I'd like to get an exhaust, but I can't find where anyone makes one for this quad.

Other than the intake/carb mods, I also intend to reduce the rear tires from 22" to 20 or 21" tires.

Hopefully those three mods will make it a little more fun to ride.

Do you guys have any other suggestions for cheap power? I don't want to spend a lot of money on this old machine.

Also, does anyone have a starting point for the main jet size with the open airbox?

The 160 isn't mod friendly. It's sort of a red headed step child.. LOL
Stock machines are usually jetted fat. I'd try the stock jetting and watch the spark plug color.
The 22's are way big.
Maybe 18" tires.

I'm not expecting much from the intake and carb mods. I suspect the tire size change will have a pretty dramatic (relatively speaking) effect.

I was never able to find a suitable pipe for my son's 160, and I searched the internet high and low. The best I was able to do was put a UNI filter on it and fine tune the jetting
