So if everything goes well next few months I should be on track to buy my LTZ400 this year. I'm currently looking at 4k for the project. My goal is to buy the quad for about 2kish and spend the rest on fixing/replacing (unless i find an awesome deal for more). I'm aiming to buy something stock so I can learn to the upgrades myself. I will be riding most at Wayne National in south east Ohio. As of right now here are few questions I have.

What should I be looking when buying used?

If I find what I'm looking for in terms of it being mostly stock, what are some upgrades that I should be looking into?

Do bead-lock wheels really do much besides add a cool factor to your quad?

What are good tires for mostly dry but occasional mud trail?

Need more info please say so.
